Due to a spike of COVID-19 cases, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has postponed the class 10 and 12 board examinations for 2021, stating that the amended date sheet would be announced when the state’s pandemic situation is reviewed.
Students are urging that the UP board cancel the Class 10 and 12 board examinations since it is still unsafe to offer tests, despite the fact that coronavirus incidences have been declining in the state over the previous few days.
In the midst of all of this, a new report is circulating that the UP board is expected to make a decision on Class 10 and 12 Board Exams 2021 in the near future. When it comes to class 10 examinations, rumors abound that UPMSP would cancel them and advance pupils based on its internal assessments. If this rumor is to be accepted, the total pass rate for the UP board class 10 examinations this year will be 100%.
The UP board recently requested that all school principals publish the results of the half-yearly and pre-board exams for class 10 on the UPMSP’s official website. They have been given till Tuesday evening, May 26 to make the material public.
The UP board examinations for classes 10 and 12 were planned to begin on May 8 but were postponed because of the COVID-10 epidemic. The UP board examinations were originally planned to begin on April 24 but were postponed owing to the UP Panchayat Elections 2021.
UP Board Exam Cancelled 2021
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has decided to cancel the next UP Board 10th Exam in 2021 because of the present epidemic issue. Due to the cancellation of exams, UPMSP is expected to announce an ‘All Pass’ Result for 29.94 lakh High School students this year based on the internal evaluation. The UP Board is likely to make a formal notification in this respect soon.
Because the UP Board High School Exam 2021 has been canceled, all students will be advanced to the next academic grade, Class 11, based on their previous grades.
For the first time, the UP Board 10th Result 2021 obtain a 100 %
With the UP Board’s decision to abolish the UPMSP Class 10 Board Exams in 2021, it will be the first time in the board’s history that it achieves a perfect 100 percent score. This year, no student will be failed or given a compartmental result because all 29.94 lakh pupils would be promoted based on past assessments. Prior to this, the UP Board High School Result 2021 had the highest pass rate of 87.96 percent.
Class 9 marks will use to determine promotion.
Although the UP Board has yet to announce any promotion criterion or marking methodology for high school students, it is likely that pupils would be promoted to the next class based on their last grade, i.e. Class 9 marks, rather than the UP Board 10th Exam 2021. No student would fail this year under this grading or promotion plan.
This is being done since the UP Board does not conduct any centralized internal assessments for high school pupils, making it impossible for Class 10 pupils to obtain marks for mid-year or quarterly examinations. According to reports, UPMSP has requested that schools post the Class 9 marks of students registered for the UP Board 10th Exam 2021 to the Board’s website by May 24, 2021.
