The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is a state-level exam held once a year to complete the recruiting process for primary (1–5) and upper primary (6–8) level teachers in Uttar Pradesh schools. The UPTET test is administered by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB). On May 11, 2021, the UPTET 2021 announcement will be posted on the official website. The exam date for UPTET 2021 is July 25, 2021.

Paper 1 and Paper 2 are the two parts of the exam. According to the UPTET 2021 Exam Pattern, candidates who wish to teach grades 1–5 should take Paper 1, while those who want to teach grades 6–8 should take Paper 2. To teach children in all classes, from 1 to 8, one must take both Paper 1 and Paper 2. Each paper of the UPTET 2020 exam lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Eligibility Criteria for UPTET 2021 

There are two groups of people who apply for the UPTET.  Eligibility Criteria for Primary School Teachers and r Upper Primary School Teachers are given below.

Nationality : 

Aspirants from India, Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan are eligible to take the exam.

Age limit:

The applicant’s age must be between 18 and 35 years old. Candidates who fall into one of the government’s reserved categories will be offered age concessions based on the government’s guidelines.

Exam Pattern for UPTET 2021

  • Offline mode will be used for both Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Eligibility Certificate for UPTET 2021  

For five years, the UPTET Eligibility Certificate is valid. You can obtain an eligibility certificate by submitting a copy of the UPTET Admit Card and a photo ID card to the district education board.

  • Candidates who have passed the UPTET and wish to apply for teaching positions in Uttar Pradesh schools must submit an eligibility certificate.
  • Candidates can obtain a second copy of the UPTET Eligibility Certificate by sending a DD (Demand Draft) in the amount of INR 300 to the Secretary, Examination Controller Officer, Allahabad.

Applicants must provide the following papers in order to obtain a second copy of the UPTET Eligibility Certificate:

Answer key of UPTET 2021 

As soon as the exam is completed, the unofficial UPTET answer key 2021 will be available. However, no date has been set for the distribution of the official UPTET 2021 answer key. UPTET answer keys will be posted on the exam’s official website as soon as they are available, paper-by-paper and set-by-set.

It should be remembered that the Uttar Pradesh Exam Regulatory Authority will issue the preliminary UPTET answer key first. Cutoff of UPTET 2021 

The UP Basic Education Board publishes cutoffs based on criteria established by the board. The following is the decision on the cut-off:

  • For reserved category candidates, a qualifying score of 55 percent (83/150) is required.

Application Fee for UPTET 2021

Candidates will be required to submit an application fee in addition to the UPTET 2021 application form. All candidates must pay the application cost in order to complete their registration.
